About the program
A mentoring offer at NTNU intended to support career development and increase the share of women in professorships. The program pairs female researchers with experienced mentors across disciplines to strengthen qualifications, networks and career planning.
Goals
- Strengthen career development for female associate professors working towards promotion to professor.
- Increase the proportion of women in professorships by supporting qualification and promotion.
Participants
Mentees: female associate professors who have a few years before promotion. Mentors: professors at NTNU. Participants are paired across disciplines to provide broad perspectives and networking opportunities.
Content and format
- Joint meetings for all participants.
- Separate meetings for mentees and for mentors.
- Follow-up in mentor pairs with approximately 10–12 meetings per pair.
- Thematic focus areas include qualification for professorship, career planning, networking and exchange of experience.
Language
The program is conducted in Norwegian.
