Description
The Mentoring Program of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid is a formal, group-based, in-person, voluntary peer program: second-year or higher students accompany small groups of newly enrolled students during their first months at university.
Objectives
- Facilitate the academic and social integration of newly enrolled students.
- Develop transferable skills in those who serve as mentors.
Format and participation
The mentoring is organized in small groups, takes place in person, and is based on peer-to-peer accompaniment. Participation is voluntary for both mentees and mentors.
Target audience
Newly enrolled students as mentees and second-year or higher students as mentors.
