Role of mentors

Mentors are upper-year students who provide peer-to-peer guidance, share learning strategies, practical experiences and emotional support to ease the transition to academic life. Mentor involvement helps create a more accessible and welcoming environment for new students.

Nature of the mentoring relationship

The mentoring relationship at FAIMA is based on dialogue, exchange of experience and practical support; it is informal and focused on integration and ongoing development, both academic and personal.
