About the program
The Open Mentoring Program run by Vital Voices Poland since 2010 is an intensive, practical cycle for women who want to develop leadership skills, take responsibility, and influence their environment. The program combines support from experienced mentors with practical sessions, enabling participants to expand their competencies and networks.
What does the program involve?
Participants complete an intensive session consisting of 14 days of practical sessions, workshops and lectures. The program includes, among others:
- job shadowing — several days spent with a mentor at their workplace,
- media training,
- a strategic game,
- business lectures and leadership workshops,
- networking meetings and opportunities to connect with leaders from business, politics and the social sector.
Who is it for?
The program is aimed at entrepreneurial women in managerial or specialist positions who:
- run their own business or work in a company, corporation, non-governmental organization or public institution,
- have at least 7 years of active professional experience,
- are strongly motivated to develop their leadership potential,
- are fluent in Polish and English,
- are engaged in pro bono activities.
What do participants gain?
The program provides the opportunity to acquire practical leadership skills, observe leaders at work (job shadowing), develop media and strategic competencies, and establish long-term, valuable professional relationships.
The role of mentors
The program involves mentors — leaders with authority and experience in business, politics and other fields — who share their experience and support the mentees' development.
