About the program
The program aims to support students of the Poznań University of Economics and Business in their professional development and in preparing for a conscious entry into the job market through direct collaboration with experienced UEP alumni.
Who you will meet in the program
Mentors are UEP alumni with managerial and expert experience across sectors: business management and strategy, HR and organizational development, consulting, energy, and project management and technologies related to renewable energy. Mentors share practical experience, a business perspective and guidance on career development.
Mentoring skills and topics
- Leadership skill development and building authority within a team
- HR processes and employee development (development planning, employer branding, recruitment)
- Business strategy and organizational development, including experience in company management
- Project management and adapting to a changing market environment
- Industry topics — e.g. renewable energy, sector transformation and regulations
What you can gain as a mentee
- Practical support in career path planning and entering the job market
- Feedback and direct guidance from practitioners
- Development of specific skills (for example, team management, development planning, preparation for managerial roles)
- Opportunity to learn about organizational perspectives and market requirements
Working style and expectations
Mentoring takes place in a partnership atmosphere: individual meetings, discussions and elements of coaching. Support may also include the use of diagnostic tools (for example, behavioral tests) where useful. Key values in the mentor–mentee relationship are openness, commitment and trust. The program emphasizes flexibility in setting goals and working methods — the mentoring goal can be modified during cooperation.

The program is intended primarily for UEP students who want practical support in professional development, to become better acquainted with the job market and to develop skills useful in their careers.
