Coaching and mentoring are core elements of the Akademia Przywództwa Liderów Oświaty (APLO). The program is based on an individual coaching-and-mentoring process run in cooperation with business leaders, operating on the premise that principles and techniques effective in modern enterprises can, when suitably adapted, be applied in schools.

The program cooperates with a broad group of experts from the business sector; currently around 350 volunteers are involved in APLO, representing senior management across various companies. Mentors share practical managerial knowledge while also learning about the specifics of working in education.
