About the program

WINGS, run by the Odzyskani Foundation, is a mentoring programme designed to help young people discover and develop their career paths and soft skills through a mentor–mentee relationship based on partnership and cooperation.

Format and scope

The programme involves regular one-on-one meetings with a mentor, conducted as a series of monthly sessions tailored to the mentee's needs. In practice, the programme consists of a cycle of approximately eight monthly meetings. Mentor–mentee pairs are matched based on an application form and a selection process.

Subject areas

Mentors support participants across a wide range of practical topics, including:

Benefits for mentees

Participation offers the opportunity to learn about the realities of chosen professions from practitioners, discuss ideas and development paths, receive support for addressing weaknesses and developing strengths, increase professional self-awareness, and acquire practical skills.

Benefits for mentors

Mentoring also benefits mentors: it provides a chance to share experience, reflect on personal goals, develop mentoring skills, and enjoy the satisfaction of observing younger people’s growth. In WINGS, mentors serve on a voluntary basis.

Participation rules

Participants are young people within the indicated age range, selected through an application form and a qualification process. Participation requires familiarisation with and acceptance of the programme regulations and Code of Ethics following completion of the training.
