Student Showcase is an initiative of the Łódź University of Technology Foundation supporting student scientific clubs with development workshops, project fairs, networking and a Pitch Battle competition offering possible funding for winning projects.

About the program

Student Showcase is a program aimed at the academic community that combines trainings, practical workshops, an exhibition space for student scientific clubs and a project presentation contest (Pitch Battle). The project’s goals are to develop young creators’ competencies, promote student projects and facilitate cooperation between academia and business.

What we offer

Workshops and trainings in areas such as communication and team behavior styles (Extended DISC model), time management, personal branding, presentation preparation and fundraising.
Pitch Battle preparation workshop — practical sessions focused on presenting projects and testing value propositions.
Student Clubs Fair — a space to showcase achievements, exchange experience and form partnerships.
Pitch Battle — a competition for the best project with financial prizes and the possibility of receiving funding.
Networking and knowledge exchange — moderated Open Space sessions and opportunities to meet academic and industry representatives.

Who it's for

The project is addressed to student scientific clubs and student organizations and their members; organizations register to participate, and attendees gain access to trainings, exhibitions and competitions.

Format and topics

The program combines workshop and training formats (also available online in a flexible setup) with practical elements: preparation for public presentations, advice on project management, image building and inter-team cooperation.
