About the program
The Mentoring Program of the University of Bielsko-Biała pairs experienced professionals with the university's students in individual meetings. The program aims to support the mentee's personal and professional development and to facilitate their first steps on the labour market.
How the program works
The entire process is coordinated by the Career Office and includes:
- recruitment of mentors and mentees,
- interviews with candidates to initially identify needs and expectations,
- pairing based on professional profile, interests and goals,
- regular, individual meetings between mentor and mentee lasting several months,
- conclusion and evaluation of the cooperation.
Benefits for participants
- For mentees: individualised support in skills development, career planning and entering the labour market, plus access to the mentor's experience and network.
- For mentors: an opportunity to share experience, influence the development of young talent and develop mentoring skills.
The program is intended both for students seeking support in professional development and for experienced professionals willing to act as mentors. The Career Office handles pair matching and evaluates the outcomes of the cooperation.
