About the program
Conlea Mentoring is a free, four-month program supporting people starting in managerial roles in the IT industry. The program pairs mentees with experienced IT leaders, offering one-on-one mentoring sessions, experience exchange, and a supportive community.
Who it's for
The program is intended for people working in IT who are taking their first steps as managers or team leaders (preferably with 0–2 years in the role) — motivation to develop and engagement matter most.
Format and course
- Duration: 4 months.
- Mentoring sessions: 1:1 meetings, recommended every two weeks (minimum 6 meetings during the program).
- Additional activities: opening workshop, webinars, "lean coffee" meetings, and supervision sessions.
- Pairing: mentee preferences are considered; final pairing is done by program coordinators.
- Remote participation possible — the program also accepts international participants via virtual sessions.

Role and requirements for mentors
As mentors, the organizers invite senior managers and heads of IT departments with experience managing teams (recommended minimum 5 years). The program seeks people willing to share knowledge and support the development of future IT leaders.
Support and quality
The program is moderated by coordinators who support the matching process, monitor the mentoring relationship, and help resolve any difficulties.
Conlea Mentoring is an initiative of the Conlea Foundation, combining practical guidance from senior IT professionals with hands-on support for managerial career development.
