About the program

The Warsaw University of Technology Mentoring Program pairs students with alumni who share practical and life experience and accompany them through the first steps of their professional careers. The mentoring relationship is partnership-based and focuses on supporting the mentee's individual challenges, goals and career plans.

Who is it for?

The program is intended for students of at least the 3rd year of study (from the 5th semester) and for people no more than two years after receiving their diploma who are seeking support in professional development and making important career decisions.

How does the cooperation work?

The mentor–mentee relationship is based on regular meetings and dialogue. The mentee brings a topic, challenge or goal, and the mentor offers advice, shares practical tips and asks questions that help work out next steps. Mentoring is individual and long-term, focused on the participant's real needs.

What does the mentee gain?

Why become a mentor?

Participating alumni have the chance to share knowledge, give back to the university and influence the development of the next generations of engineers. Mentoring also encourages reflection on one's own career path and the development of leadership skills.

Note: The program operates under rules and regulations that define the terms of cooperation and may limit the number of mentees per mentor.
