About the program
Mentors4Starters (M4S Leadership Mentoring) is a development program that combines individual mentoring with senior practitioners, competency workshops and an active alumni community. The program builds on the organizers' many years of experience and collaboration with a pool of over 60 mentors and several hundred alumni.
What does the program offer?
- Individual 1:1 mentoring — typically a series of about 5 sessions matched to the participant's goals; each session lasts around 1–1.5 hours, with flexible format options.
- Developmental workshops — group sessions that provide tools for building a career strategy and organizing competencies.
- Community and networking — access to an active alumni group and meetings with inspiring figures from business and public life.
Who is the program for?
The program is designed for professionally mature individuals, usually at mid-career (approximately 30–40 years old), with solid professional achievements and pragmatically defined development needs. The ideal participant has around 10 years of professional experience and seeks support in leadership, strategic redefinition of their career path, or entrepreneurial development.
Structure and approach
The program rests on three complementary pillars: individual mentoring (the foundation), developmental workshops (the competency layer) and building social capital (the relational layer). Together these elements aim to produce lasting change in how participants manage their careers and leadership.
Who are the mentors?
Mentors are seasoned practitioners: C-level leaders, experienced entrepreneurs, people from the cultural sector and public administration, and experts from the NGO sector. Their support focuses on practical lessons from successes and failures and on tools used at top-level positions.
