About the program

Program Mentoring UW is a multi-month cycle of 1:1 meetings between an experienced Mentor (a UW alumnus) and a Mentee (a student of UW or WUM), carried out within a defined structure, rules and objectives. Participants work on individual development goals and build competencies useful for planning their career path.

Who is the program for?

The program is aimed at students of the University of Warsaw and the Medical University of Warsaw. It runs in a 1:1 format, with a limited number of Mentee places in each edition; Mentees work with an assigned Mentor for the duration of the program.

Format and organization

The program is based on individual Mentor–Mentee sessions over a defined period (approx. four months) and includes a series of onboarding meetings and preparatory trainings for participants. Mentor–Mentee pairing is done through a matching process, and the detailed meeting schedule is agreed with participants when each edition launches.

Organizers

The program is implemented by the UW Incubator in cooperation with the UW Alumni Club and the University of Warsaw Careers Office.
