About the program
Mentoring F2F (Female 2 Female) is run by the F2F Foundation with a mission to reduce gender gaps in the exact sciences and support women at the start of their professional careers. The program provides individual support, access to the experience of mentors working in international companies, and opportunities to expand professional networks within the STEM community.
What the program offers
- A 9-month mentoring program pairing female students in technical fields with experienced mentors;
- Support for building confidence, developing competencies, and deliberate career planning;
- Access to knowledge, practical advice, and an international network of contacts;
- Materials and tools to support the mentor–mentee pair, provided in part via a technology platform;
- Opportunities to take part in industry events and meetings that broaden perspectives and networks.
Main elements and activities
- Individual mentoring — regular meetings between mentor and mentee focused on development goals;
- "Kobiety Rakiety" conference — an annual event serving as the program finale and a space for exchanging experiences and networking;
- Networking meetings and mentor participation in industry events, which foster lasting professional relationships.
For whom
The program is aimed at female students of scientific, technical, engineering, mathematical, and computer science fields, and at experienced women with technical education or professional practice in STEM who wish to act as mentors.
