A mentor program that pairs master's students at the Business School with leaders from Norwegian industry for career and personal development through one-to-one mentoring and joint seminars.

About the program
Mentorprogrammet ved Handelshøgskolen pairs master's students at the Business School with leaders from Norwegian industry to promote career and personal development, insight into business leadership, and the connection between theory and practice.
What the program offers
- Individual mentoring relationships between a student and an experienced leader.
- Three mandatory joint sessions: start-up, midpoint and closing.
- Runs from autumn to spring, with the possibility to continue the relationship after the program ends.
- All participants receive a certificate of participation upon completing the program.
Who the program is for
The program is aimed at master's students at the Business School who are proficient in written and spoken Norwegian. Selection places particular emphasis on the student's motivation and expectations for the mentoring relationship.
Learning objectives and value
The program seeks to strengthen abilities such as goal setting, self-awareness, presentation technique, communication, relationship building and the ability to view issues from different perspectives. It also aims to reduce the expectation gap between students and industry regarding skills, roles and career opportunities.
For mentors
Mentors represent leading national and local organisations and, through the program, have the opportunity to contribute to student development while gaining insight and inspiration from meetings with students.
