Program overview

The mentoring programme “Inspiration – Qualifizierung – Vernetzung” at the University of Leipzig supports students and graduates up to three years after graduation in entering the workforce and in their personal development. In a tandem, mentee and mentor meet regularly in person to pursue individual goals.

Process and content

The tandems arrange several in-person meetings and, depending on needs, work on topics from the following areas:

Career planning
Application phase
Insights into working life
Time and task management
Leadership
Strategic networking

For mentors

Mentors are predominantly alumni of the University of Leipzig as well as experienced professionals from regional companies. The programme offers the opportunity to pass on experience, support emerging talent and expand one’s own network.
