About the program

NF Alumni Mentoring is a faculty mentoring programme that builds long-term professional ties between graduates of the Faculty of Economics at VŠE (mentors) and current students (mentees). The programme focuses on sharing practical experience, supporting career planning and developing soft skills in a friendly, structured environment.

Who the program is for

Mentees: students in bachelor's and master's programmes at the NF of VŠE who want professional guidance, practical advice and to develop their career potential.

Mentors: graduates of the NF of VŠE who are willing to share experience, meet with a student regularly (typically about once a month) and can hold in-person meetings on the VŠE campus.

Format and typical activities

The programme combines individual mentoring with faculty events — proven formats include speed‑dating meetings, themed workshops led by external and faculty instructors (e.g. stress management techniques, mindfulness, team leadership) and mentor meetings for sharing experience.

Outputs: recommendations, practical tips for entering the labour market, development of soft skills and a certificate of completion.
