TU Graz students support secondary school pupils with their pre-scientific (Vorwissenschaftliche) or diploma papers and provide individual guidance for the start of university; mentoring is conducted in German.

In the Mentoring Programme for Pupils, TU Graz students support secondary school pupils either with writing their pre-scientific paper / diploma thesis required for graduation or by offering individual advice and orientation for entering higher education. The offer is aimed at young people seeking subject-specific guidance or help choosing and preparing for university studies.

Who the programme is for

Secondary school pupils who need support with a final or pre-scientific paper.
Youth who want individual advice on choosing a course of study and preparing for university.

What mentors offer

Subject-specific support in finding a topic, conducting research, structuring work and academic writing.
Individual guidance on study orientation, study preparation and the transition to university.
Insights and practical experience from the everyday life of TU Graz students.

The mentoring is offered in German and is part of TU Graz's Services for Children and Young People.
