MedUni Wien's mentoring program supports students through individual exchanges with senior peers as well as experienced clinicians and scientists.

Program overview
The mentoring program of the Medical University of Vienna supports students through a structured, personal exchange with experienced contacts. Mentoring accompanies personal and professional development and adapts to the individual needs of the mentees.
Objectives
- Promote personal and professional development of students
- Provide career orientation and guidance in study and professional life
- Strengthen networking between cohorts and with the university and teaching hospitals
Program structure
- Junior Mentoring: For students of human medicine and dentistry from the 1st semester; mentors are higher-semester students; regular meetings focus on exchange, individual development, and networking.
- Senior Mentoring: For students from the 2nd year of study; mentors are experienced physicians and scientists from MedUni Wien and the teaching hospitals; the focus is on career orientation and long-term support.
What mentees can expect
